  • To lead and manage laboratory quality control activities to ensure all raw material, process, final product, and environmental analysis are performed accurately, safely with approved procedures.

      • Support internal audits, customer audits, ISO, DOE, DOSH, and CIMAH-related documentation when required.
    • Job Requirements:
      • Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
      • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in laboratory, quality control, or chemical/environmental analysis.
      • Experience in ICP, IC, AAS, ammonia distillation, HACH, and wet chemistry.
      • Strong understanding of laboratory QA/QC and analytical chemistry.
      • Able to review and interpret laboratory results.
      • Good knowledge of calibration, QC checks, standard preparation, and method control.

      • Perform sampling for raw materials, process samples, final products, wastewater, and environmental samples.
      • Ensure all samples are collected according to approved sampling procedures.
      • Label, preserve, transport, and register samples properly.
      • Maintain sample logbooks and ensure sample traceability.
      • Report abnormal sample conditions to the superior immediately.
      • Carry out sample preparation such as weighing, dilution, digestion, filtration, extraction, and preservation.
      • Prepare reagents, standards, calibration solutions, and chemicals as instructed.

      • Avoid unauthorized changes to test data or calculation records.
      • Submit completed worksheets and test records for review.
      • Perform daily equipment checks before use.
      • Ensure equipment is clean and ready for operation.
      • Record instrument usage in the equipment logbook.
      • Report any equipment abnormality, alarm, error, or breakdown to the superior.
      • Assist in calibration, verification, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
      • Follow laboratory safety rules and wear proper PPE at all times.
      • Handle chemicals, acids, samples, and waste safely.
      • Ensure chemical bottles, waste containers, and samples are properly labelled.
      • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and good housekeeping.
      • Support chemical inventory checking and inform the superior when stock is low.
    • Job Requirements:
      • Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering or related field.

      • Daily Plant Maintenance: Execute routine preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and corrective repairs on both mechanical and electrical equipment across the facility.
      • Environmental Control Systems: Oversee, operate, and maintain critical environmental control equipment, including wet scrubbers, ductwork, chemical dosing systems, and fans/pumps.
      • Instrumentation & Controls: Calibrate, inspect, and maintain plant instrumentation, such as pH meters, temperature/pressure sensors, flow meters, PLC panels, and Inverters (VFDs).

      • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a chemical, hydrometallurgical, metal recovery, or heavy process manufacturing plant.
      • Dual-Skill Capability: Demonstrated ability to handle both mechanical equipment repairs and basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting.
      • Wet Scrubber / Environmental Systems: Direct hands-on experience in wet scrubber operation and chemical monitoring (e.g., pH adjustment, circulation pumps) is strongly preferred.

      • Mengendalikan peralatan loji mengikut Prosedur Operasi Standard (SOP), arahan syif, jadual pengeluaran dan keperluan permit.
      • Menjalankan proses start-up, pemantauan, pelarasan dan shutdown bagi rotary kiln, wet scrubber, unit rawatan gas serombong, extractor, filter press, tangki salting, sistem precipitation, centrifuge
      • Memantau parameter proses seperti suhu, tekanan, kadar aliran, pH, kepekatan larutan, kadar suapan, masa tinggal (residence time) dan petunjuk kualiti produk.

      • Berkeupayaan mengendalikan dan memantau rotary kiln, scrubber, sistem penapisan, sistem extraction, sistem precipitation, centrifuge dan peralatan berkaitan furnace.
      • Mempunyai pemahaman asas mengenai prinsip proses hidrometalurgi seperti leaching, extraction, filtration, salting, precipitation, solid-liquid separation, drying dan metal recovery.
